Fall winter mowing leaf cleanup Seattle Everett Washington areas 2018
It's time for the fall winter mowing leaf cleanups in the greater Seattle Everett Washington areas. Places like Lake Forest Park, Shoreline, Kenmore, Bothell, Kirkland, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Everett, Marysville all have trees and lots of leaves.
Mowing weekly during the leaf fall is the best choice. Due to weather conditions like rain, freezing weather plus the amount and type of leaves on a lawn all make it important to mow weekly.
By mowing generally the leaves can be sucked up by the mower and disposed of. With a mulch mower like the one ThomasLawnMowing.com uses can actually grind the leaves up and be left on the lawn. The mulch mower has two blades which double the number of blades of a "normie" lawn mower. In essence it's sort of like using a blender and making a leaf smoothie for the health of the lawn.
Leaves that are left whole on the lawn and not broken down can do damage to the grass. Leaves that lay for days, weeks and even months can in many cases kill the grass leaving unsightly patches. This condition is similar to age spots that can be seen on some people. The bare patches in a lawn can be a step to what I call lawn cancer, large unsightly spots without grass. That is a condition that starts with poor maintenance from the soil health up. Much like in human diseases that can often times can be avoided with by practicing healthy lifestyles including nutrition etc.
The soil is dependent on the living organisms in the Earth to break down carbon. Ground up leaves and grass clippings are excellent sources of carbon for the soil critters to eat. Think human microbiome of the gut and the rest of body. Gut microbes humans break down the food and drink we consume. Soil critters range in microscope size up to the familiar worm. The carbon cycle of the soil is supported by the broken down mulched leaves and grass. This helps feed the life below and in turn break down minerals and other nutrients for the roots that ultimately feed the green stuff we see and the mower cuts.
Mulching leaves and grass in a timely fashion is an effective way to increase the health of the lawn and value of the property. Too often people think gardens are fed by big box store fertilizers. The reality is that most of the nutrition is right there in the yard and garden waiting to be released. Mulching with a mower is a great step in the direction of stemming "lawn cancer."
So there you have it. Mulch, mulch as much as possible. In some cases when there are an overabundance of leaves they can be ground up and put in a compost pile. The last case scenario is sending the wonderful mulch to government compost system.
For a lawn mowing estimate go to ThomasLawnMowing.com Fill out the online form at the site. I will look at the lawn on Google Maps and give you an estimate via email. The process is quick and easy to do. If you choose to use the mowing service the information you supply is used to create an online mowing account. There you can see the current amount due, how to pay etc.

Time to start lawn mowing in Lynnwood Washington 2017
Believe it or not the 2017 spring lawn mowing season is here or almost here just around the corner. If you live or have property that needs lawn mowing in the Lynnwood Washington area check out ThomasLawnMowing.com
Today is February 23, 2017. Looking outside this year the grass isn't growing as fast as it has in many years in the past. But, that doesn't mean that some lawns don't need to be mowed.
Now is the time to connect with a lawn mowing service and then get the first spring lawn clean up. The past winter more than likely has left debris on the grass that should be cleaned up soon than later. Many different things like limbs, boughs and especially old leaves should be removed. If leaves that dropped in fall aren't take off the lawn or ground up, mulched into the grass, bare dead ugly spots can begin to ruin the lawn. Bald spots can create not only unsightly lawns but really bumpy surfaces. When the leaves kill off patches of lawn it isn't just the look but walking on or playing on bumpy grass isn't a good thing. Dead areas are not only bumpy to walk on but to mow.
If you're looking for reliable mowing service in the Lynnwood and north Seattle areas check out ThomasLawnMowing.com today. Thomas Lawn mowing serves the areas from Capital Hill in central Seattle north to believe it or not all the way Marysville Washington. Some of the many communities covered include places like Lake Forest Park, Mount Lake Terrace, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Kenmore, Kirkland, Bellevue, Bothell, Mill Creek, Mukilteo, Everett and Marysville.
The mowing website features a form that can be filled out to get an estimate. Fill out the form which sent via email. The lawn is checked using Google Maps. By viewing using the satellite view things like the location and size of the lawn, parking etc can be viewed. The estimate is sent back to you via email.
Another feature of the service is the convenient email billing and the online mowing account. Each customer can log in and see when the lawn was last mowed, the invoice and how to pay. An email bill is sent after the last mowing of each month. Most people get the email and log into their financial institution and pay using their bill pay. Simple and straightforward no hassle service.
Hope to hear from you soon.

March 2009 Mowing ...
Finally March is here and winter is still hanging around in the Seattle Everett metro areas.
Slow start to the gardening season with snow and unseasonably cold weather through the entire month.
Today is March 31 the last day of the month and hope seems to around the corner?
Today the weather is sunny, windy. Thankfully the rain broke off early and the day is looking good.
Crocus are still out and about. Usually the bulbs are gone in late February. Daffodills are having a difficult time blooming. Saw the first tulips in Edmonds this morning at a lawn mowing estimate.
April starts tomorrow. The lawn mowing season will be picking up soon if the sun comes out and it warms up a bit. Grass loves it between 50 and 60 degrees.
We shall see.
If you are looking for a lawn mowing estimate you have come to the right place. Check out the TomsLawnMowing.com. There you can request a lawn mowing estimate via email. Fill out the form and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Have a great spring.
